"We loved our stay in this cozy farmhouse. A few key items were missing in the kitchen: wine glasses, good knives, kitchen towels, jcloths. Also not enough seating to sit down for dinner together. We ate With the adults sitting around the couch and the kids at the small round table. "

"We have been going to the Adirondack for a long time but never explored Jay area. This cabin was easy access, in a lovely neighbourhood. Once in, we felt welcome by the warmth of the decor, cleanliness and a well set kitchen. Thank you for the wonderfull time!"

"Cabin very nice. Very clean and plenty of kitchen tools and nice large dining table. The hosts are very easy to work with. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Third bedroom would be better to use with children as you have to walk through it to get to Master and the Bathroom is inside the master bedroom. Just to note - there are several security cameras around the oustde of the house. upstairs bath is inside that bedroom. "

"We returned to the same cabin 3 years later. In addition to swimming and hiking right at the property, we took an afternoon trip to Stowe and another to Burlington. Back at the cabin, we enjoyed a family fun night playing pool, air hockey, darts, and cornhole in the basement. We also cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The cabin serves as a comfortable home base to explore Vermont!"

"A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "

"This is a spacious house in a beautiful location right on the shore of Lake Champlain. There is limited access right behind the house where we were able to take pictures of the comet and gorgeous sunsets. There are many books to be read and a variety to choose from. We weren’t able to use the fireplaces for some reason. But after reading the House Instructions, we saw they weren’t available. Definitely read those few pages because they contain many instructions for trash dispersal (composting,...
