"I think its important to note that this hotel has a five star rating. When you have this rating i think its fair to be critical of things that i would otherwise not comment on. Cons: the pool needed a clean (there was green slime on some of the walls. Some of the matress beds by the pool were covered in bird poo for days on end. "Very difficult to find this place in a dingy area. The staff appeared less than happy to see us. They offered no maps nor recommendations for places to eat - a bit useless really. The ocean view was fantastic but the bed was uncomfortable. Neither of us slept well for the two days we spent. Still nice to open the window and listen to the ocean! Shower worked very well with plenty of hot water."

"Dar Cherazade is very walkable to all tourist attractions. It’s only ten mins from the beach, 2 mins from rampants & about to to La Skala & the fishing port. You are right in the Medina. The property was very clean & quiet with beautiful views of the ocean. It is windy in essaouira but the beach side is a lot less & you can rent beach beds for 2.50€ pp for a full day on the first spot on the beach. Thanks to the staff & Imad for help with our bags & lovely breakfast & room cleaning. "

"We all really enjoyed our winter break in Dar Do. The property had a traditional Moroccan feel, inc the decor, rooms off the courtyard and plenty of space if you wanted to have some alone time. Said was perfect and was immediately available if we needed anything. We'd also recommend his wife's tagine, which was delicious. All in all would definitely recommend. "
