Strong odor of urine in living room, dank smell from kitchen drain, mold . At check-in we were told to purchase our own toilet paper! No paper towels either.Mosquito infested outdoor sitting area precluded its use and no screens on any windows or doors."

"The property is in a great location, easy to get to once you have made your initial arrival. We were met by Chantal, who is a lovely friendly lady, and showed us where everything was. "Loved this place, great location for all amenities and lots to do in the area. The dog loved the area too. My son is 11 and never got bored!! We cycled the Col de Tourmalet, paraglided, kayak, paddle board and lots of walking. Would highly reccommend the property as it had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 😁"

"I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! "No welcome instructions sent, had to call the owner who asked us why we were phoning! However...Nice gîte in quiet location not too far from cable car (journey 5 mins by car) to ski station. Comfy real fire and multi fuel burner. Faded living area. Nice bathroom and nice enough second bathroom. Good enough kitchen but some things missing eg. cheese grater a good knife...a few things like that. Generally a nice place to stay but needs some TLC and more dinner plates (only 3 there and about 40...
