"Just back from Hôtel Monsieur Aristide in Montmartre - a hidden gem tucked on a quiet street away from tourist spots but walking distance to everything. Our room had a private garden (beautiful even in February!) and was tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the street peaceful for great sleep. The also had some nice lighting. "Property was easy self access Kitchen area had coffee/teas/milks/water available 24/7 so was real nice to sit comfortably with a drink of your choice. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Room was fine with good towels. Staff very informative/helpful. Would definitely recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was near the metro which was ideal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only issue was the safety of the street. There were often groups of men huddling by storefronts nearby at night. As a woman, I would have been anxious if I were alone. Nothing to do with the location itself- just an FYI for any solo travelers. "

"Great location and style of hotel, spa is good and so is the service at the restaurant. Some small things that stopped it being a 5 star and only 4.... no travel tooth paste in bathroom provided, the tv connect system does not work despite us both trying on both phones and doing all the steps, restaurant staff very helpful but both the reception staff seemed a little cold and not very friendly/ did not seem willing to help when asked questions. Cleaning staff where also so loud in the mornings...

"We loved this hotel. It is an easy walk from the nearest metro station and in a lovely quiet street. We arrived late in the evening and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and really nice. The breakfast was really good and the member of staff working was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again. "

"Looooooved staying here my last night in Paris. Super cute lounge area with great selection of drinks and food, plus plenty of outlets, chill vibe, cool decor and friendly staff. Stayed in the suite (top floor) — it had a gorgeous bath / shower area, sexy dressing area mirrors, turntable, well-stocked mini bar, and an amazing bed and linens. Will definitely return (and stay here longer) the next time I’m in Paris. ♥️"

Towards the end of the 19th century, this part of Montmartre was teeming with famous artists, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, etc. Today's artists set up their easels and tempt passers-by with their works of art. And in the background is the Basilica du Sacré-Coeur. It's such a lovely part of Paris.

Touristy? Yes.
Worth seeing? Definitely.

A Wonderful Choice for a Trip to Paris

"Hotel Lorette was a superb choice for our visit to Paris. It is located in the Saint George district just 15 minutes bus ride from Gare du Nord (line 43) and the Saint George metro is about 1 minute walk away. The location has great public connections by bus and metro to most tourist sights and some are no more than 15 minutes walk away. We booked a superior double which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. The buffet breakfast is superb with so many options and worth the supplement. There is also an excellent complimentary drink and snack service in the lounge which is a great touch. The staff were always polite and helpful and all deserve some credit for making our stay enjoyable. Just as a footnote, a nearby bistro, Le Bon George has just featured on the BBC and is definitely worth visiting for lunch or dinner. "

"An amazing 4 night stay at Hotel de Roubaix still can’t believe it’s only 2 stars. 3 of us stayed in a family (triple) room and were delighted with the decor, beds, bathroom and cleanliness. Great location to explore some of the popular attractions in Paris and the metro line (4) is a 5 minute walk away (Reamus Sebastopol). Only 1 change at Garde de Nord and less than 1 hour from the airport. Hotel is quirky annd unique and has character and charm of its own. Staff on reception were lovely and very helpful and my daughter loved the hotel dogs who sit quietly in reception. Breakfast was available at the hotel but there’s so many places nearby that we didn’t bother. I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends and it will be a first choice when visiting Paris again. "
