"The cottage is a lovely place for a quiet break. Clean, very warm and comfortable. Comfy beds and plenty of lovely fluffy towels. The boiler room housed a washing machine and a drying rack for any damp items of clothing or towels. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We didn't personally do much travelling but there are nice walks to be had close to the river and into woodland pathways. The trees were beautiful with autumn shades, and there were pheasants who even trotted past our windows....

"This is a superb cottage, finished to an excellent standard and very well equipped. There is no phone signal or WiFi which some people may not like but for us that just added to the feel of having a proper getaway in The Borders countryside. You can’t walk on the immediate estate but that really doesn’t matter as there are plenty of walks in the area. "House was absolutely stunning. It is in a great location for everything in Moffat. We had an amazing weekend. Only issue was the heating didn't come on but when i contacted Angela she came out and fixed it straight away. Would definitely stay again."

"We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good. Parking nearly by on the street would have been a challenge. The property was in an area urban renewal. Was well within an easy walk to the High Street. "
