"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at 28 North Bridge and I highly recommend the Editors apartments. It was clean, excellent location, fully furnished and very spacious. "The location was great, walking distance to everything. The property is clean but little bit old, and we had an incident with one of the rooms that we booked plus the terrible communication between us and the staff that made us really unhappy. Also the bed is too small."

"This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"Great location and great view of Old Town from the windows. Clean and spacious. Beds are comfy. Can walk from the train to this location as well. Only thing to be aware of is 3 flights of stairs with luggage is required. "

"Wonderful location right off the Royal Mile. Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet, even though we were in a busy area and there was construction going on towards the back of the building. More than enough space for our family to stretch out and relax after long days of touring the city! Linens provided were ample and clean, bath products were available in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We would absolutely book again!"

"The staff on the phone COULD NOT have been nicer or more helpful!!! They were not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and guided us every step of the way when I got lost. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable and in a wonderful location, right in the heart of everything!! Highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"The linton collection was an excellent apartment block in a very good location just off the royal mile. There was a great speak easy type cocktail bar next door called the three blind mice and it was easy to walk to most actractions from the apartment. "Cosy 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Good for family stay. About 8 mins walk to St James Quarter where the parking is. Entry to the apartment building is in a back alley. While it’s well lit, the occasional noise from the garbage bins can be disturbing in the night. Overall, still good."

"The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). "Amazing hotel within the centre of the city! 5minute walk from station and other amenities. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely have a dip in the pool and make use of the sauna. Had an excellent 2 night short stay. I will definitely come back again! Thank you everyone who made my first solo trip unforgettable :) "

"We booked for a short 5 day stay and were glad to realise it was such a close proximity to restaurants, souvenir stores, Victoria Street and the famous Edinburgh castle! The staff were friendly upon arrival HOWEVER we were told by one gentlemen that our room was not ready but to rest assure when it would be, we would have a wonderful view of the castle during our stay. When our time came to check in a women gave us our room but it was on the opposite end of the hotel so we did not get the view we were told. Still, a very clean, comfortable stay. There were some loud noises at night, assuming from other guests and some noise during the morning from tradesmen but overall the sister hotel/restaurant a minute walk down the road was pleasant. "
