"Excellent stay….. Kensington Merit Hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, perfect heating, storage, coffee and tea, large tv and amazing bathroom and shower. Everything modern and brand new and all controls (shower/tv/heating) easy to use….which is not always the case with other hotels. 100% recommend. Very good value too. "

"The hotel is in a fantastic location: close to Paddington station, lots of bars and restaurants around the area. But, they need to update this hotel desperately. It’s outdated, filthy, wallpaper peeling off, TVs don’t work, just incredibly grubby. You’re paying for the location and not a nice nights sleep."

"The hotel was very good. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room wasn’t very big but was as expected. My only negative and no fault of the hotel is that it is in a quieter area so some nights most of the stores and restaurants close by close early. "
