"Positives - pleasant location. Room fine. Clean and tidy. Negatives- not as advertised. No bar, deli, swimming pool, garden, tables and chairs, or atmosphere. We discovered on arrival most facilities were closed because of change of ownership. So if you plan to stay soon, be warned…currently not what it says on the tin! A 5 mile drive for something to eat in the evening was the last thing we expected. "

"We liked that it was in city centre and close to transport. The room was spacious and facilities good. There was a shared lounge and kitchen area together with an outside court yard. The kitchen is well set up with everything needed. Pierre the owner is very obliging. Overall a pleasant place to rest your head. "

Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm. My husband and I stayed for three days on our honeymoon, and after a rainy week in Paris, our stay at the Maison Mulato was a breath of fresh air. "It was different, like staying in a friends house with some of their stuff still in the room. I had difficulty finding it so they very kindly picked me up at a local restaurant I had found. I arrived late and left early but the overall impression was very positive."
