The owner communicated frequently and well, and the local property manager is an absolute jewel in addition to being an incredible source of knowledge. "From initial booking our contact with Camilla was very helpful. She answered our questions promptly and provided thorough information as our stay approached. The property was in a beautiful rural location but within 15 minutes of Caylus with bars and a small but well stocked supermarket. "Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt, denn die Gegend und die Art, das Haus einzurichten und zu bewirtschaften entsprechen unserem Geschmack und Stil sehr, den wir in unserem eigenen Landhaus in Deutschland leben. Auf englisch könnte man das von Liane sehr gut verwaltete Anwesen der freundlichen Gastgeber wohl am besten mit 'Slow Tourism' umschreiben. Wir kommen gern wieder!"

"Beautiful rustic place, with a lot of space to roam around in. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen / bbq as it was raining on the only days we were free to do that, it was late September / early October so not that surprising. We know the area well and there's lots to do, one of my favoutite areas of France."

"The house is beautifully restored…better in person than in the pictures. Rachel snd Fred were very helpful hosts and stay nearby. The whole experience was wonderful - beautiful house in a charming village with option to take daily walks. Other villages just 5-10km away with grocery stores and restsurants- notably Les Arques, Catus and St Médard. Great water sports at Le Lac Vert in Catus. The house also has beautiful gardens and pool with stunning views of neighboring countryside."

"25 mins out of Cahors in lovely rural setting. Fully fenced property and pool ideal for children and pets. Robert and Pierre close by to help with any maintenance issues. Foie Gras, cassoulet and Malbec country- delicious! We have had many of these types of holiday but this is by far the best equipped house we have ever stayed in. 2 fridges plus wine chiller, dishwasher, 2 microwaves, juicer, bread maker, racqulette the list goes on! Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from it all and...
