"We often return to Dormy House if we are in the area. We like that the breakfast is included in the price and that the check out time being 11am is later than other hotels in the area. The location is good, you can walk a path alongside some fields down to the beach. Staff are friendly, the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely bar area. The prices are very competitive as a last minute booking compared to other hotels of the same standard . All in all very good although some rooms are not well sound proofed and you can hear music from the bar or your next door guests. Another plus is if you have a dog they only charge a small amount per stay unlike their neighbouring competition. I’m sure with a quick call to the helpful reception staff prior to arriving they could advise which rooms would be quieter. "

"We had a mid-week stay. Hotel staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. We booked on room & breakfast basis but added evening meals later. The food was very good, well presented and good sized portions. The room, while a little dated, was clean and had all that we needed comfort wise."
