"This was about the fourth time I've stayed at the Dav-Ed. As usual my room was immaculate. This is a classic one-level motel probably from the 1950s but is thoroughly up-to-date. Wifi is good, everything works, everything is clean and in excellent condition (fridge, microwave, TV.) Due to recent back surgery I booked the handicap accessible room (Room 1) which had a totally renovated bathroom, wide bathroom doorway, ramp to front door. "This motel is very close to the entrance to the Presqu'ile State Park, which is lovely and free. Because it is a non busy season, upon arriving, the owner upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. The motel is a standard, cheap motel, which could use upgrades, but it is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful, parking is convenient, location is good, and we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.
