"A wonderful stay on the outskirts of Munich. The room was lovely and had everything you’d need for a short stay. No outside noise and I heard nothing from inside either. The breakfast was unbelievable, so much choice and variety, I have seldom seen such a spread! The only small thing is that you are given one small sachet of shower gel per person, so I’d recommend bringing your own shampoo/shower gel."

"Highly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing genuine Bavarian gemütlichkeit in a convenient location near Munich. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable with modern bath fixtures. The food we ate in the gasthaus was fantastic, and if you're lucky enough to eat there on a Sunday you'll love the delicious desserts that are available, to include my favorite German kuchen, bienenstich. The Munchener schnitzel is worth a trip back by itself! The staff at this family-run gasthaus is very friendly, attentive, and are fluent in English for those of us that only speak a smattering of Deutsch. My wife, as well as the other couple we were traveling with, had no previous experience staying in a German gasthaus. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to extend our stay, however, there was no availability of rooms. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Landhotel and Gasthaus Wiedmann!"

"Check in was simple, rooms were modern and clean. Bathroom was small by American standards but very functional. Attached restaurant was great. Also a nearby Indian food restaurant that looked great but I didn't try. Beautiful little nature area nearby with a small river"
