"Awesome, relaxing staycation! From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a memorable stay as the Owners (Oscar & Stephen) was there to greet us, gave a tour of this castle/mantion. They are kind hearted people doing lots of social and community work in the area. During the castle tour, we liked another suite and host let us upgrade since it was available at no charge. "the two bedroom was very cozy and clean. it had everything we needed for cooking and coffee. only draw back was the shower was a bit small and there was no heat in one bedroom except out last nite."

"We were disappointed that the fireplace was not able to be used for our stay. We booked specifically for the fire place for purposes of our reunion. We could have used a few more towels. 2 for 2 night stay was not suffecient. Smoke detector not functioning. We had a spectacular time!"

"This was our second time staying here. We totally enjoyed the scenery in spring and again, in winter. Surrounded by pines and a variety of mature trees with a beautiful pond, we enjoyed the privacy as well as the hot tub and wood cackling in the fireplace! The house is very comfortable with antique country style decor and finishes as well as the fully stocked kitchen and very comfy bed. Very clean and a genuine log home! We look forward to enjoying the house in fall! We highly recommend! "
