"This is my second time visiting The Palace hotel. The staff is hugely attentive from the moment you get in. The rooms are spacious, well kept and for my purposes, an excellent set up for working with a very comfortable desk. The gym was surprisingly spacious and well stocked with free and cardio equipment. Breakfast was excellent but a bit pricey at 45 Francs! Had I been with my family that would’ve been 200 Francs for breakfast!? Stay in and have dinner at the hotel restaurant, Grande Chene. All kinds of seafood, but I had the steak tartar as well. All in all, a lovely property. Try to get a room looking towards the water or don’t spend the extra cash and just get a room in the high floors facing the Cathedral. Beautiful! "

" The most awesome part of the hotel was the staff. The night staff, Michele and his assistant, were incredibly helpful with our questions about the rail systems. This was our first experience with swiss railways and they were patient and helpful with each of our inquiries. The location could not be more convenient to the rail station and restaurants. "

"This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at.The staff are outstanding. Polite, helpful with excellent English but prepared to humour my attempts at speaking French. The room was wonderful with an incredible view across the lake to the mountains. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the eggs Benedict cooked to order. The spa was good too. I could not recommend more"
