"The place had so much room and was very homey. Just wish we knew how to use the heaters and showers better. Both were freezing at this time of year and host had phone issues and never responded. Cutest home and little town. Made it easy to get to Galway without staying in the busy city. Also nice drive to Cliffs of Moher. Walked to the local castle. Locals were very friendly. Was a bit hard getting out in the mornings as schools are very near and busy."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

The owner left lovely treats for us (salmon, crackers, cheese, eggs, and milk that was unexpected but really appreciated. Location could not be better. I hope we can return some day. "

"From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. "We had an unbelievable time staying at Casa Ceoil in Ruan near Ennis, County Clare. This property is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love animals. Everything was incredibly clean with all that you can ask for- a great sitting area, washer/dryer, big kitchen table and comfortable bedrooms. Barbara was so kind and we loved touring the farm. "We were in Ireland to get married and needed a spot that was relatively close to the Cliffs of Moher. This house was perfect! Plenty of room for us and a great location. Friendly neighborhood with shops within walking distance. Joan and Pat down the street at Cooley’s House are a real treasure and made us feel like family. Can’t wait to go back and we will definitely plan to stay here again!"
