"Unique to the property was skeleton key to open and lock your room. Was great walkability to the whole town including pubs for dinner, fresh produce stores and pharmacy, not to mention a couple of different off licenses. Would recommend The Blue Haven for dinner - the seafood chowder was the best I've ever had. The bed was pretty firm though so we both woke up sore. "Great three night stay. Property was clean enough. Slight lack of attention to detail eg. Shower gel empty, curtains need rehanging, no guest manual at all. Those were minor niggles and overall I had a comfy, quiet and pleasant stay. "

"I have stayed at both the cottage and main house before. Minor issue with wifi this time but that was quickly rectified. The unseasonably cold weather during the first few days of our stay made the cottage very chilly until heat was turned on but that's Irish weather. Once weather returned to seasonal norms, there was no further problem. Very comfortable for two people but would be a stretch for any more. Excellent value."

"This property was everything we hoped it would be and more! Comfortable, beautiful, amazing location, spectacular views and fully stocked with anything you might need on vacation. Deirdre and John were so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed learning about the milking process from John one evening and wondered around by the sea with Teddy and Robin (the pups). I cannot recommend Ocean's End enough. Book it! I promise you'll be so glad you did!"

Excellent Quality Hotel

"Fantastic hotel in a great location outside of Cork. It’s a picturesque drive in and out of Cork to the hotel - about 20/25 mins in total depending on the junction you leave. This was our 2nd stay in 12 months as we travel to Cork regularly. The hotel never disappoints with friendly staff and the breakfast menu / quality of a luxury restaurant! The rooms are bright and clean with up to date colours. Our stays are always B&B as there is so many quality pubs / restaurants in nearby Bandon or Ballincollig to enjoy besides the excellent breakfast sets you up for the day. Will return again no doubt."
