"We were traveling from the USA and were looking for something in Central Switzerland that would be nice, quiet, beautiful and easily accessible by train or bus. I had never heard of Hasliberg but decided to take a chance and glad I did. The hosts were very sweet and spoke English well enough to answer any of our questions. "Great location in a historical building. Walkable to grocery and the lake/river tourist area. The building common area is a bit dated but look interesting if you like historical building. The apartment is spacious and modern. Big fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. Nice Tereace. The bedroom with a bathroom are on the ground floor. there is an AC in the bedroom but not cool enough, only works like a fan. The AC upstairs is better but not enough to cover the living/dining/extra bed area....

"We stayed on the top floor overlooking Chapel Bridge. The cobble roads make it tricky with a suitcase as do the stairs. You have to come to the back of the building to get in. There is no reception. We took the 1 person elevator each day. They have a free washing machine and clothes dryer and we just had to provide our own detergent. Perfect addition. Also able to cook for ourselves which saved lits of money. Would definitely stay in this room again"

"This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are little smaller than expected but manageable. The staff is excellent. The only issue was the noise from trains as the tracks are right next to the hotel. You have to close the windows to reduce the noise."
