"When the fire alarm went off at 4 am on New Years Day, the staff were quite quick to help evacuate the premises and kept people informed. There was no fire and we were quickly allowed back to our rooms. One thing I was not impressed with was that when we booked, there was not information that the swimming pool times were changed. This caused us to change our plans so that my children could go swimming, one reason for choosing this hotel."

And breakfast room very pleasant - bright and warm. The room was quiet and comfortable but a bit overpriced at nearly £100 without breakfast - everything is a bit work out. Chipped paint, old furniture, threadbare bed base. Shower was great though. "
