"Breakfast options were ok, nothing “low carb” though, so nothing healthy for diabetics to eat. Pool area was musty smelling and chairs were broken but the water was nice and kids enjoyed it. Room was clean and housekeeping gal was friendly. Gal that checked us in was super helpful. Would stay again. "

"Big family dream! Three beds in a room is a luxury only big families could understand. The kids were so excited to all be able to sleep in a bed, not the floor, a cot, or an uncomfortable pull out. Even with three beds the room was spacious and comfy. The beds were unbelievable. I slept better there than at home. The housekeeper was kind and very sweet to the kids. All communications via text were answered within moments. The price was far less than we found elsewhere and worth every penny. We’re so happy we stumbled on this gem. We’ll be back!"

"June was unusually cold this summer and there was no heat in the room. Wearing sweatshirts to bed helped. Beds were comfortable. Remodeled bathroom was nice."

"Overall a great stay. The water from the house's well has a strong sulfur taste. It would be best to take along water to drink. The house is near the lake but not on the lake as the one of the pictures seems to suggest. The host was extremely responsive and returned emails within a very short time."

"We were on a week long road trip through the UP and the Cottage was the perfect location in between stops (50 min to Picture Rock National Lake Shore in Munising and 50 min to Mackinac Island from St. Ignace). It was a great place to stay with our family of 5 and have amenities such as a full kitchen, laundry, and restaurants within 5-10 minutes away. The owner had nice little “extras” and was very responsive. We had a great stay!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful all around! There were 12 of us girls staying there for a bachelorette party, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. It's very spacious which allowed for us to spread out, as well as multiple people being in the kitchen/dining area all at once. The bedrooms were cozy, with thick plush carpet that felt like you were walking on a cloud. And the beach... spectacular!!"
