"We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely. The location was peaceful but not too remote. The view was stunning and the terrace was the perfect place to have breakfast each morning. We loved Kangaroo Island and the house was perfect for us. The kids all had their own bedrooms and we loved the endless table tennis in between outings! Thank you."

"The house is located across the road from a beach. Beach ones for 5K there is also a path across the road which is part of the park run and is easy access to ocean pool. The main town is a 40 minute drive. But the local town is a 45 minute walk or three minute drive. The local town does not cater for shopping groceries or anything like that. We struggled to find even a restaurant that was opened but does have a delightful cafe but obviously only opened for lunch and breakfast so it’s advisable...

"I booked this house in the first week of school holidays for my children and their families to stay. A big family holiday. House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience...

"This property made a perfect base for our trip to Kangaroo Island. The house had everything we needed and as host Julie included provisions we never would have thought would be included such as toiletries, coffee machine pods and lovely gifts. The communication after booking and throughout our stay was fantastic, full of the essential information as well as suggestions and tips for our stay. We really hope to be back soon!"

"Quirky converted beach shack in sleepy American River. Some beautiful scenery and wildlife along the river. This property presents affordable accommodation in peak season and good base to explore around east and central KI. More suited for 4 as sofa bed requires updating. Unfortunately had a blocked shower drain during our stay otherwise stay at property was comfortable. It was disappointing that the oyster farm shop previously just up the road is now permanently closed. "

Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue."
