"Good value hotel. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little small but comfortable beds and pillows. My only complaint is not the hotel’s fault, that is, there is a mosque nearby that provides 4 am serenading each morning."

"The experience was ok, breakfast was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door "

"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel."

"The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. "

"Good things. 1. 2-3mins from the beach which was lovely. 2. Staff were nice. 3. Airport shuttle (to and fro) was $20 which was really good. Bad things. 1. Bad Internet service. 2. Food was not nice. Expedia messed up with communication, so we had originally booked for half board, however, this hotel doesn't offer half board. So glad we did not get half board cos the food was not nice at all...

"I'll start by saying that the rating I've given for this booking is based on the lack of level of service and professionalism provided by the owner, Mr Solih and his manager and son Mr Hamdhaan. "I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. "The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people. "

"Beautiful property from top to bottom. The beach was immaculate and the service was outstanding. I appreciated how attentive staff was without being bothersome. It was clean, quiet and serene. My husband and I snorkeled in the beach daily and the water was crystal clear. This was an experience of a lifetime for us, and I can’t wait to return. "

"The island is beautiful and very relaxing. Being able to walk out of our villa onto the beach and snorkel with the amazing sea life was the highlight of the trip for us. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with special mention to Helan, our housekeeper, and the wait staff in Bageecha Restaurant who were particularly attentive. Towards the end of our stay, we were thrilled to receive a complementary room upgrade to a stunning water villa. It was such a treat for our last night. Overall, it was an incredible trip that we will never forget."

"Our stay in Bandos couldn’t have been better. We stayed in a Superior Beach Villa, 1 minute walk from the beach. Room was very clean and serviced every morning whilst we were at breakfast. We went all inclusive and were very happy with what was included and what wasn’t. Food choices from the buffet were excellent and the restaurant staff were great. As we had a late return flight we booked a massage at the spa and spent a couple of hours before and after relaxing on the sun beds and shower before departure. Risma and Ploy gave us a great massage. We definitely will be back to Bandos - it’s just a matter of saving up!!!!"

A fabulous hotel and resort.

"A wonderful stay at the CRF with its superb facilities and many diverse eating options. A special mention to Shana, Yaya and especially to Shohel who kept our over water villa spotlessly clean and tidy and was always helpful and pleasant. The staff at CRF always had a greeting with a smile. We will return!"
