"Overall, had a very nice one night stay. Room was very warm, clean and tidy, what more can one ask for. Serve yourself continental breakfast was very good, with a nice fresh fruit selection and plenty of choice with cereals, bread, jams, etc. Location of the guesthouse is very close to the coastal footpath, for those that like walking, and also the golf course (for those that like walking after a little white ball)."

"On arrival I was upgraded to “the boardroom “. Great but the downside was a TV the did not work because of the aerial connection. Lovely big bathroom with new fitttings, but the bath did not drain."

"This is one of those special places that is worth the trek. Once you step foot into the front door it feels as if you’ve stepped back into a different time. The finishes are all rich and appropriate and the town itself is adorable. Service is outstanding, bed was delicious and would go out of my way to stay here again!! True luxe on a small scale! A bit difficult to find which bldg to check in so ask for clear directions prior to check in. "
