"The Writer's Cottage is a beautiful and charming property. The decor is gorgeous - beautiful antiques, interesting artwork and unique accessories. The open kitchen is unbelievably beautiful and functional. It is definitely the central gathering place. The property owners were excellent hosts. We had an issue with the TV and Josh came to the house to take care of it. It was a perfect girls weekend getaway. Thank you, Josh and Jill. "

"Location! Location! Location! We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable for my two daughters and I. We were in Waco for a long weekend, doing all the iconic things Waco had to offer. It was a short walk to Magnolia and a 5ish min drive to everything else. The owner was so kind and helpful, answering any questions we had. She also left goodies for us to snack on. So sweet! I would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Waco!"

"This house was darling! We stayed here two nights so that my daughter could tour Baylor and we could have a shopping day at Magnolia and all the cute boutiques. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. It is about three houses down from Pinewoods, which is one of the most popular coffee bars in town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! "

"My granddaughter and I made an overnight trip to shop some of the bookshops in Waco. We knew it would be a quick trip, but wanted something more inviting than a hotel. The Pinewood House was perfect for our stay! The house had been recently renovated and maintained the charm of the era, but with all the amenities of a brand new home! "It was my 40th birthday and we were planning on just grabbing a hotel but on our way we checked here. So glad we did! What an amazing property and stay! Quiet and clean. 15 stars. Great communication. Love the homestead community and the Waffle Co! Great communication with host as well as we left a few things and they are coordinating getting it to us. So nice! "The Ellis is so cute and comfortable. It was perfect for our party of 3. Great location, easily walkable to The Silos. Area felt safe. Host was easy to reach, the only issue we had was unlocking the property which was quickly addressed. Overall, highly recommend this property."
