"We stayed about a week to check out the nearby ski establishments. It's a great spot within an hour or so to five or six different places. There is also piles of great restaurants and breweries in town. The shuttle to the casino was rad and even ran during a wild snow blizzard. The driver was professional and friendly. Great drink specials at the casino. The hot tub was mega and quite rejuvenating after shredding so much Pure Michigan gnar. Self parking was easy, but the lot was a bit of a mess from all the snowfall. On the weekends there was a conveniently located taco truck in the parking lot with some of the best tacos this side of the Allegheny. There was also a cannabis dispensary. The breakfast could have been more substantial but the hardboiled eggs and muffins got the job done. WiFi worked well for remote work/video calls. Wish there was a microwave device in the room, but there was one in the breakfast area in the lobby. There were signs/pamphlets in the room with information about the casino that were inaccurate or old, this needs some updates. Overall it was a great stay and we'd return. "

"We had a fantastic winter getaway here. We came in just before a big snowstorm and watching it through the largo patio windows across the lake was beautiful. The hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. We also enjoyed the large kitchen space. "

"Simple clean motel for Husband and I . We stayed 2 nights to ski at Boyne. Only 10 min away . Short walk to town for dinner and watch football. Perfect for our needs at a cheaper price than chain hotels. "

"This hotel was amazing. A hip and relaxing atmosphere that hits all the key points. This hotel is truely a very unique build that reminds me of the architecture of sweden, only bigger. The windows are all situated in such a way that the your door faces outwards. Which in my own opinion is a really authentically pleasing design choice. A bit hard to explain with words but hopefully the pictures can fill in the gaps. Upon being greeted at the hotel you enter the lobby through a cozy small setting with a seating area, fire, bar and cocktail area and a few tv screens. If you are a bourbon lover as I am theyve got tou covered with the basics and a few more Blantons and Rock Hill Farms included. This hotel is dog friendly and we were greeted by a few of the furry guests in the lobby upon checking in. I understand that not everyone is a animal lover so I will make a point of mentioning that I did not botice any smells or excess amounts of fur around the building as can be said of perhaps some other hotels. The upkeep is bery well maintained at this hotel. Our room was a king room (me and my wife) and it was surprisingly spacious. The bedframe has that raw woods aesthetic that I rather enjoy with a European feel platform bed and live edge headboard. A neat touch is the bed has a underlighting feature that can be turned on and off to be used as a nightlight. The bed itself wasnt terrible. Id say however it may be more on the firmer side that I prefer but overall not too bad."

"We booked this place after our kids’ away basketball game where we got caught in a storm and just needed an overnight. Didn’t realize it was a motel, so as we all arrived you could see the hesitation from the families-but it was a pleasant surprise that the beds were comfy, rooms warm & clean-it served the purpose and we didn’t have the breakfast since there were great options nearby. Staff was friendly, I was satisfied overall."
