The Space
WFH / WiFi / Family Retreat / Girlfriend Weekends / Well-being and mindful seekers / Adventure and Nature Enthusiasts

Experience the energy of a unique, modern and expansive cabin, in an idyllic nature setting.

Recent eco-home upgrades include converting all fossil fuel utilities to solar and living light on the land practices in place. We encourage our guests to be mindful of their eco footprint during their stay.

The lodge is a sanctuary from our crazy everyday lives of city living. Wellness is the goal at the Retreat East Co lodge where we make it easy to explore nature and relax our minds and bodies. Both the interior and exterior setting is designed to spark joy in nature to enhance our own well being. We share books and encourage the Japanese art shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing for health benefits.

It's easy to drop in for the weekend or a week and enjoy included amenities like coffee, custom relaxation tea blends, 'smores pack, premium yoga studio props, unlimited firewood, and luxury bedding in a cozy and expansive country setting. Once you get here, you won't want to leave. We encourage longer stays, offering a weekly reduction of 18% and monthly rates with a significant savings from the nightly rates.

Upon booking, the property curator will reach out directly via email about the additional offering of add-on-site services to promote well-being with locally vetted practitioners, like movement (yoga, pilates, hiking), bodywork (energy healing, massage), and food (local breakfast, picnic provisions, or on-site chef) as well as booking verified childcare providers as needed.

Many people flock to the area for the endless outdoor adventures in the area - from the hiking family to the serious mountain climber, there are activities for all conveniently located to the home.

Check out "the forest experience" a fully designed platform tent for rent in the woods. www.retreateast.co for more info. Please inquire if interested.

A quiet week in the mountains
The property is beautiful and on the edge of a large undeveloped forest so it was like visiting a nature preserve. In 6 days we saw many birds, chipmunks and squirrel but also deer, wild turkey, snapping turtle, toads, snakes and even a few black bears. Its an easy drive to Bethel Woods and many other local points of interest and the owner Lianna provided additional information about the area as well as quick responses to my questions. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, grilling and eating on the deck and sitting by the fire pit at night and even though it was the 4th of July weekend it was very quiet for the majority of our stay. I would recommend this property to those who have some experience with staying in the country and can respect that in this setting we are the visitors to the animals' home.
