"My extended family of 10 stay for the week. With 5 active kids ages 9-12 there was plenty of kayaks, tubes, and canoes for them to use. The river is calm in front of the house. Yes the hill to the water is steep but it wasn’t an issue for any of us. The porch rocking chairs on the screened porch was wonderful for drinking coffee and watching the river every morning. There’s a stack of firewood for the fire pit which is nice of the host to supply along with sticks (in the kitchen) for roasting...

"The property was quite cozy, off the main road, and extremely peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at stars was a great way to end the night. Located about 40 minutes from Lurray and a short drive to Massanutten leaves plenty of options for the whole family. The property seemed well maintained by the host and we felt welcome upon arrival. We will likely be back next year!"

"The location couldn’t be any better. The river is so close and so nice to listen to. Beds were comfortable which is surprising for most rentals. Would love to come back in the summertime and take advantage of the river with swimming and fishing. If I had to pick anything to complain about, I could only say 2 things. 1 the house is kinda small on the inside. There are some tight spaces. Nothing wrong with that, but the kitchen gets really tight if too many people are in there at once. 2 the fire...
