"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Cute decor and most amenities we would need. Just a few things need cleaned and fixed to make it even more enjoyable. Ice maker in the freezer is not in working order, owner said he would get it fixed so hopefully he does. Lots of live and dead ladybugs in the house so I'm not sure how long ago the cabin was cleaned prior to our arrival. It being the off season, maybe the cleaners were there a while ago. Adding another shower would be a huge improvement in a house this size. But overall, the owners were responsive and the house was cozy and cute. "

"Pleasantly surprised with our stay in Galena. The staff was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and clean super well decorated the pool although we didn’t use it or the hot tub looked really clean and inviting and they had towels ready for you. What else the bar? The bartender was very nice with a generous pour! Perfect for a couples quick weekend getaway"

"It was a such wonderful place & our visit was much too short. However we will definitely return there. This was a anniversary getaway for us. Many things in town are closed in town on Mondays but we always made it work regardless. The Irish Cottage staff were absolutely great & willing to help in any way. Plus they serve a nice hot breakfast that is included in room. We loved the all the Irish decor down to the imitation coal burning fireplaces (one of my favorite things) & the restaurant is so cozy. We were quite impressed with their outststanding library & collections. We left with great memories of this charming place."
