"The house unfit for rental. Pool fence not secure, large whole in the pergola ground, unable to open windows, sliding doors. Provide BBQ but no gas or utensils. BBQ absolutely disgusting and has never been cleaned. Fly screens so dirty that we could not open windows. Mould on venetian blinds, air vent and owner called me a liar even though we have photos. House being reported to local government authorities and to Stayz"

As we were driving to the property, we were contacted by the property manager (Caloundra Holiday Rentals) who advised us the cleaner reported the house "smelled bad". They offered to reimburse us for any cleaning products we might need!! We did try to clean the property: 5 of us spent 3 hours cleaning on Boxing Day. "Good location in close proximity to shops and beach the neighbourhood was a little shabby. Guests to supply all linen yet we weren’t told it was king singles and king bed so linen didn’t fit. Lots of green ant nests in the back yard the kids got a lot of bites so lots of tears playing outside. Overall nice old house just a few little things"
