"We had a great stay in Lyle Canyon. The house is eclectic and far out, down a dirt road, by national Forest property. Due to the seclusion, the internet/wi-fi was occasionally spotty (but adequate)so keep that in mind if you plan on remote work . The host was very responsive to questions. The yard is fenced and was great for our dogs. We ate in most nights as it is a long way into town. Visit the local meat market in town."

"We put on a lot of miles in 4 days, we visited Coronado, Chiricahua, Fort Bowie, Tumacacori, Saguaro, and Organ Pipe Cactus (on our way back to Phoenix). This location worked well for our day trips and the house was great. Ice Cream at The Corner Scoop in Sonoita was fantastic, as was the wine we picked up from Dos Cabezas WineWorks.The only negative we experienced was barking dogs at night, pretty much every night, most of the night it seemed. "This getaway for adults and their fur babies is just a short walk away from two vineyards. Plus, the owners onsite have created a wonderful walking path around their property for exercising your pets. Have been coming here for over 6 years and highly recommend. "
