"The rooms were odd, felt like staying in a concrete tomb. The pool was yellow-ish green, it was not swimmable. The hotel is very remote, no food, taverns, groceries within walking distance. beds were old and very uncomfortable, and overall we felt very unsafe in this location and left after one miserable night. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away. If you're just looking for a relaxing place to stay, then the drive there may not be worth the effort. The drive there involves some pretty twisty roads with the last 5 km or so on a dirt/gravel road. Once you get there, getting to the reception area and back out again is pretty tricky involving a narrow one lane road. But again, you...

"We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open! "

"It's a stylish apartment with excellent service, daily cleaning and good vibes. It included everything we needed, and it is all brand new. Better than any "typical" hotel we've been in in a long while. Beautifull location up in the village 2 min walk from the center with plenty of figs trees, vines and flowers. We fell in love and will surely come back to Kissamos and only to Kallimento. "
