"We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in La Paz. The house is close to a nice Chedraui Selecto so it was easy to stock up on groceries. The beds were comfortable and there are lots of nice places inside and out to lounge. The neighborhood is safe and a short daytime walk to the Malecon. Ubers we’re also easy and there was ample parking. The knives were pretty dull but we made due. We enjoyed diving, snorkeling, great restaurants and exploring this beautiful city. We will be back!"

"This house is sooo nice - really big and spacious. We had six of us (three adults and three kids) and had more than enough space. It looks brand new too - so clean and great furniture etc. The pool is really good, kids enjoyed playing there. A couple of minutes to the Malecon and many restaurants in 5-10 minute walking distance. Highly recommended."

"A must see property, amazing view of the sea with an excellent property manager and a gracious owner. There was a small mishap during our stay in the property and the manager immediately took care of the problem and with the owner being directly involved we got a major credit refund. This was the highlight of our trip and we certainly need to return back there soon. "

"What I liked.. Close to the water Clean Good communication New What I didn't enjoy... Number one for us was the bed, hard as a rock. We even purchased an additional mattress pad. Downstairs has one window. It is really dark. I wouldn't stay there again really only because of the bed. "

"It is a very nice home. Very comfortable and the property was clean and well kept. The pool service being done 2 times a week was very nice! The kitchen was immaculately kept with plenty of dishes, pots and pans as well as glassware for different occasions. The internal temperatures were perfect for sleeping. Overall this place is a 5 star rental."

"This place was perfect for the two of us it was extremely quiet, close to town (5-7 min drive), surrounded by lush trees and flowers and about a 15-20 min walk to the beach. There’s also plenty of restaurants around this area that you can walk to. The cleanliness was fantastic we stayed for 9 nights and a lovely cleaner would come in daily to take out the garage, make the bed and change out towels when needed. Great communication with the host as well! Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay at Vista Tortuga. The property was great, and the self-contained apartments worked really well for our group. The common areas were fantastic, and we loved hanging out by the pool and on the rooftop deck with views of the ocean. There’s an amazing coffee shop down the street that opens at 7am and makes healthy food, some gluten free, and the drink offerings use more interesting ingredients than you typically see. "Prior to our arrival I was in communication with the property manager. He was aware of the time our arrival. Once we arrived we noticed the property was filthy , it was uninhabitable. The doors, windows, and sliding doors all had hand prints & dirt everywhere. The floor downstairs, staircase, bedrooms, and bathrooms had not been cleaned or moped. "The location was perfect, a short drive to the malecon or easy walk, plenty of restaurants, authentic home and decorating with a welcoming host. Definitely recommend for those wanting the opposite of an “all-inclusive” experience. "

"Everything I could have possibly needed was there and my 2 rooms and the bathroom were spotless. I was an idiot and didn’t check my messages 24 hours before checking in, due to no WiFi, so I had no idea how to get into the Suites upon arrival. My fault, not there’s! But, as always, there are those beautiful Mexican people who are always so willing to help."

Fantastic location and staff

"Our stay was amazing. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and accommodating at all times. Parking was never a problem, you just pull up on the side and the staff take care of the rest. They stored a birthday cake in their frig for us as well, with no problem at all. Location was excellent. Stayed in an inside room (no balcony) and slept really well, minimal noise could be heard from the malecón at night, which I read was a common complaint with those who had a balcony room. The rooftop restaurant has good breakfast and breathtaking views. The hotel is well maintained. Will absolutely stair here again when we return. "

Beautiful boutique hotel in La Paz

"We had an amazing two nights celebrating our anniversary. The food at the restaurant was excellent, the press for champagne button in the room was a very nice touch and we used it a couple times. I wish the rooftop plunge pools were heated but it doesn’t change my opinion of this place. 10/10"

"The property itself is great! Top notch! The amenities available on the property are very convenient from the spa which has a jacuzzi & sauna to the pool area! All within the property make it very easy to access. The breakfast was great! The only suggestion I would make is regarding the wait staff. They seemed almost annoyed with any request made and didn't have a friendly demeanor unlike the housekeeping staff who were cheery, smily and greeted you in passing. "
