"Unfortunately our experience with 'Pierre Vancancies' was extremely unpleasant. On arrival we were given no instructions of how to check in or acquire the key to our room. We arrive to a completely locked premises with the option of a key or passcode entry, to which we had neither. A few cafe's close by and some of the beaches had toilets and showers. However, as the apartment was so close to the beach this did not matter. The last renter had not done a very good job cleaning utensils, glasses and dishes so first thing we did was wash everything in the dishwasher. The gas stovetop did not appear to be working, but as we were only there for 2 nights we did not bring this up with the owner, so there is likely a solution to that. "While we appreciated how responsive Dolors was, we felt that for how much money we were spending, the unit could be nicer. The photos were slightly misleading - the unit is a bit older, sparsely decorated, a bit noisy next door to a few restaurants and the shower nozzle height was strangely high. We would suggest if you are coming by train and looking to visit the main beach town, staying in a unit like this may be inconvenient."

"The property was exactly as listed. Quite central to Vilanova with a lot of lil restaurants and shops within walking distance. Xavi and his partner made us feel right at home and we were able to communicate despite our Spanish speaking limitations :). The thing to be mindful about is that the property does not have its own parking, has paid parking next door and free parking around 5-6 mins walk away. That slight inconvenience apart, I would definitely recommend the stay and will look to be back...

"We have just finished a very nice two week holiday here. The apartment had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool and nice area to sit beside it. About 15 mins drive to beaches at Sitges. We took the bus from Sant Pere de Ribes when going to Barcelona, this was easy enough and took about 55 minutes. The room stayed nice and cool throughout with the air conditioning."
