"The Red Sunset in Guanacaste was a perfect stay. From first choosing this beautiful home to driving up it was wonderful. Patrick met us at the door full of information and support of us enjoying Costa Rica. Being in the mountains was a treat. There was plenty to do at the house to keep us in fun mode, no matter the weather."

"The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nice view of the lake and convenient to activities. They offer many excursion options including a night hike on the property. Would definitely stay again when in the area."

"I can say enough about how wonderful this property is. Werner and Carlos are fantastic hosts who were knowledgeable about everything in the area. They helped us make reservations and pointed us in the direction of great places. The room was large and comfortable with a large soaking tub and rain shower. The deck had a beautiful view,nice pool and visiting toucans. The breakfast made by Carlos was 5 star worthy!! I highly recommend this property! "

"Super friendly receptionist and very helpful! We stayed here so that we could be close to Tenorio Volcano National Park. The motel was clean and met basic needs. The attached restaurant was good and offered typical Costa Rican fare. We were not able to take advantage of the tours offered by at the motel but tubing looked like it would be fun."

"The property was beautiful! We saw more birds on the property than we did at the nearby natiknal park. The food from the restaurant was excellent! A true highlight of our trip. The rooms were very clean and so was the entire property and the staff was very nice and helpful. Only negative of the property is a lack of heating/cooling in the rooms. The temperature was fine during our stay, mostly missed being able to get the room dry. We were soaked from our hike during the day and were never able to get fully dry, even after getting back to the hotel. "
