"Beautiful place to stay while visiting Anchorage! My two college kids and I stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. I baked a turkey! Instacart delivers too! Great internet and everything was very comfy and cozy. Owner was very sweet and called to check on us after a freezing weather front came through. "House is in Eagle River, a small community outside of Anchorage with plenty of restaurants and other conveniences. It was a good home base for exploring Denali, Palmer, Chugach State Park. The house itself was very clean with no clutter, so there is plenty of room for your own things. It has been remodeled recently but there is a fairly strong odor of old cigarette smoke."

My kids especially loved sledding down the hill to the lake—it was such a treat!
