"It was ‘not to bad’ overall except that there are too many flies in the house, I would attribute this to the season. Clean but quite a cold house to stay in, strong wind from the mountain behind it penetrates the logs and I feel the heating is not efficient and sufficient so it felt cold for a visitor coming from tropical countries. Another Wonderful Stay

"We just finished 6 nights at Hrafnabjorg. This was our second stay at this particular home. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, it was fun to have a hot tub to relax in each night and the views of the fjord and Akureyri are spectacular. We were 3 adults & 2 kids. We highly recommend it!"

"Fosshotel Mývatn is a gem in North Iceland! This was my second time staying here, and once again, it exceeded expectations. The rooms are modern, cozy, and offer incredible views of Lake Mývatn. The staff was warm and helpful, and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I had on the trip. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding natural wonders, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!"

"Aged rooms but very clean. Restaurant was excellent! Lobby is comfortable and we got very lucky to experience an incredible Northern Lights show! All staff was friendly and helpful! Pool table and darts were fun. Espresso machine accessible 24/7 helped us stay awake for the show and warmed us going in and outside all night."
