"We were greeted with words 'Welcome to our home' by Maggie as we stepped out of our car. The Old Rectory is a beautiful house and spotlessly clean. Shortly after arriving we enjoyed tea and cake in the guest sitting room overlooking the terrace and garden. The bed was extremely comfortable with Egyptian cotton sheets as advertised. "A very welcomed arrival, receptionist was lovely and pleasant. Couldn’t have asked for more, the rooms were perfect, we were given a free upgrade to a newly refurbished room which was a lovely unexpected extra and very welcomed. The spa was great, and the food in the restaurant was well above average, all expectations were truly exceeded. Would definitely recommend! "
