"Staff was amazing. Hotel was nice. The beds were so uncomfortable. Too soft for us. No pillows. Used duvets folded in pillow cases as pillows. The shower space is very small and tight. Awkward shelf in the way which doesn’t help. A variety for breakfast. Was always lovely. Overall OK stay. "

"We were so comfortable in this cottage. Normal sized bathroom and bedrooms. Nice kitchen. Felt very homey. Note: if you do not have any with you ( and coming from out of country, why would you?) you will need to pay for towels and bed linens, additionally. We paid about 10 euros per person! But, it was such a great value otherwise. After a great day sightseeing in Aachen, we even went swimming in the lake. Staff friendly, and even sent someone to check us in late as we had been delayed by...

"We are currently on a road trip in Germany and this was our first night. We had been travelling for many, many hours and needed somewhere to stay. This hotel was great. The location was simply stunning. The room was comfortable and tidy. Also a very nice size. The balcony let you have a lovely view of the lake. Check in was superb and very efficient. The breakfast was good with a great selection. There isn’t a lot around the hotel (there is a little shop/bar opposite), so be prepared for this....
