"We stayed early in the season (Dec), so the hotel was not operating with every possible amenity. Still, for a family holiday, it just barely sufficed, given the price. Pros: spacious room, nice balcony, good location to Rosshutte ski bus. Well heated. Cons: limited access to kettle, microwave, fridge. Games area for kids wete only at a charge of €2 for any item. TV service limited. Some parts of the hotel were well-used. A bit of a walk to town centre, although still relatively central....

"We’ve been here 5 times, last 3 at Mammhofer. Close to everything we want to visit, easy go anywhere in town just walking. Excellent care and attention of the owner. It is like visit friends. I think that if we comeback to the same place and plan to return next time means more than many positive words We can write or say."

"This hotel is listed in Expedia as "Alpenmotel Sauling". The hardest part was finding it. We followed Google Maps to the location but could not find "Alpenmotel" on any building or sign. We went up and down the streets. We finally found "Sauling" and found a self service set of boxes on the outside. We found our name and the keys. There was a building (house) number but no map. Our room was not in the building we found. So we walked up and down the street to find the house number and then...

"Four of us stayed in two rooms and we all rate this hotel and location TEN. It is clean and nice. The owner was extremely helpful. Fun to watch the cows come home across the street each evening. We stayed here three nights and would re-book in the future. Great location and MANY things to do and see close by."
