"Had a lovely stay. Would have been nice to have conditioner in the shower and not shampoo and conditioner mixed but that would be the only thing I could fault, otherwise perfect!"

"Wow, we had a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect 👌 Clean, spacious and beautiful views. Staff were very helpful, had to call as the boiler went off, they arrived promptly and fixed in 2mins. Shout out Will, great quiz and funny bingo night. Would come back in a heartbeat 💯"

"This was just an amazing place to stay with our dog. They even had a dog bowl and a doggy treat in the room. All the staff and owners were so friendly and helpful. The grounds are safe for dog walking. We had a perfect stay"

"Nice clean rooms had to go to the old dairy directly opposite for breakfast as the pub wasn’t open Monday or Tuesday which wasn’t a problem. Lovely area and people really friendly "

"The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that."

"The property is in an ideal location for touring the area or just resting and staying local. Very comfortable with a lovely garden. Clean and well equipped The owners are welcoming and helpfull. Our holiday was a great success due in part to the accommodation and hosts."

"Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. A bit more garden for our bigger dog would’ve been great, but there were a couple of public footpaths at the top and bottom of the hill, a few mins from the door. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a clean, well appointed and tastefully renovated property."
