"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

"Loved my charming Quinta do Guerra experience. The house is large, comfortable and sparkling clean. The kitchen is very well outfitted. The house is made for outdoor living with multiple lounging areas, beautiful views, the sound of the wind through the pine trees and of course the pool and hot tub. An abundance of pillows and blankets invite one to take a breath and relax. The host is super helpful, professional and responsive to questions. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"House was beautiful, great location, communication with the company/owner was perfect. The only thing they may improve is the check-in hours: too restrictive only till 7, although they offered their help for late check-in. I'd get back to this house without hesitation."
