"We're a family of 14. Eight adults and six children ages 2 years to 12 years. Plus two large dogs...This house was perfect for our needs. The house is located at the end of a county lane and although there were other houses nearby we never saw or heard anyone. There was a large yard for the kids to play and a fenced backyard for the dogs. A basement with game table and TV allowed the kids to have their own space. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Quiet secluded cabin in the woods

"Had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable. We hiked all day in the beautiful New River Gorge, Hawksnest State Park, and Babcock State Park. Saw hundreds of waterfalls after all the rain. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days on the trails. The only thing I would suggest is a hot tub cover lift as the cover was heavy and difficult to get back on. Other than that everything was great. We would definitely return if we come back to the area. eeded "

The best of times

"We loved our time at Fern Creek Cabins. It was the perfect get away. The property is just enough removed from town that you enjoy the peace of nature but within minutes you can be in the middle of everything. Access to trails was great. Coming back to the cabin and enjoying the hot tub and puzzles and board games, it was just extra sweet time "
