"The hotel location was in a safe and close to everything. The rooms were clean and a nice size. The only complaint was the water pressure and the shower. The shower didn't have a a full door or curtain. Made for a cold shower. The free breakfast was good, but not as many options as others. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The Hotel 1928 was a beautiful hotel and very nice staff, but the location and area around the hotel was not very good and not sure if it was very safe area at night. We were going to walk to the Magnolia Market from the hotel, but it did not seem safe. There were security bars on most buildings and establishments around the hotel. "

"Nice location, plenty of dining and shopping within walking distance. We walked to silos which was several blocks in chilly weather, and it wasn't bad. A nice farmers market on Sat morning just a few blocks away. Only complaint was the room next to us was smoking marijuana and it came through the vents into our room and gave us headaches! People are inconsiderate. We told the hotel as we checked out so unsure what they could have done if we had asked. Otherwise, a pleasant 3 night stay. "

"This is one of the best rentals I have stayed in. The house and property are lovely. The home had everything we needed … and more. So many extra touches - plenty of towels, coffee bar supplies, fully equipped kitchen. There were other nice touches like Kleenexes, make up wipes , cotton swabs etc. The decorations are great. Very spacious. Lots of great games for kids as well. The mattresses are quite firm, but we all really enjoyed our stay. There were 10 of us. "
