"Pleasant and efficient check-in. Breakfast -Plenty of choice but food area small to accommodate the food and the clientele. Lift for upto 5 people. Side exit on upper floors with push doors. If not closed fully lift will not function. Staff run upstairs to deal with the problem quickly when informed but clients can be left waiting and wondering why. Rooms recently renovated. "The shower head was broken which I didn't notice until the next morning and it was like showering with a hose pipe. On reporting it to reception at check out, they already knew about it but I was still given the room even though I checked in before 16.00 so many other rooms were available."

"We were there for a night while traveling through France. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. The walls are very thin and we could hear every noise from the rooms down the hall. Convenient location by the train station and staff were kind and helpful."

"very clean, modern spacious room, staff friendly, bar was good with reasonable prices. We arrived on a Saturday and the restaurant was shut! which was a shame as it looked nice and the menu looked good. Would recommend this hotel and we hope to return "

"The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out"

"A very pleasant surprise to find a reasonably priced hotel that delivered on all fronts. Really helpful member of staff on our arrival ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Room e had was spacious even with 3 beds and everything was clean. Perfect for a 1 night stay."

"We found the lady at check in to be an absolute delight. Personable, well-spoken and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, spotless,and quiet (top floor). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and well stocked. A bit more expensive than some hotels in the area but worth the extra!"

"Stayed one night whilst travelling south. Perfectly reasonable motel style accommodation. Clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Only a short walk into the centre where there are restaurants and a useful carrefour express."

"Absolutely amazing and much cheaper than an equivalent hotel in the UK. Bedroom was huge and spotless. It was a super king double, with lovely views over the countryside. The continental breakfast was superb. There is no kettle in the room, but you do have access to a kettle outside, so bring your own tea and coffee."

"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view.
