"We've stayed at this property before. We love the place. Even in winter. Easy walk to Commercial Street. Parking is a challenge. Additional parking is available across the street."

"John welcomed us and was a remarkable host. We stayed in six different accomodations on this trip and this one was by far our favorite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and convenient. John gave us a great dining recommendation which was within an easy 8-10 minute walk. We would love to stay here again. "The Martin house was clean and the room was spacious and well decorated. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the room I chose did not have a television (but it is quite possible that others on the property do have one). I was a bit dissapointed in the breakfast. It was more of a continental breakfast and the pastry the second day was a bit stale. Other than that, my stay was enjoyable. "

"Lovely room - it was a quiet weekend and they upgraded me to a larger room without any request from me. I loved the detached breakfast room, open 24/7. I had to leave very early, and it was a pleasure to stop by before sunrise for coffee and fresh muffins, with Louis Armstrong playing softly in the background. "
