"Incredible house and views from everywhere. The outdoor seating and pool area was where we spent 90% of our time. All the extra little amenities and features made this place a great stay. One note when booking this place, there’s a lot of stairs so anyone that struggles with stairs young or old may struggle with this house."

"The property was secure and roomy. The air conditioning and fans managed the hot conditions and was much appreciated. The area was good and within a reasonable distance from the entertainment centre at Olympic Park. As a party of 5, we would stay there again for sure. "

"Had a great stay at the farm! Communication with hosts was clear and we were provided with lots of info and ideas on what to do during our stay. Initially it states that the house is a 13 minute walk from lorne.. it was actually about a 40minute drive from lorne but had a great stay regardless of this. Really loved going up and visiting the goats and ponies as well! Thanks John and Maria "

"We loved our mini break at House on a Rock - the house is lovely, the location incredible - amazing views of this beautiful part of the world. The location does mean access is tricky - challenging when you arrive with luggage and provisions for your stay. Not such an issue for us and the kids but it was not the easiest for my 85 year old Mother!! We all agree - House on a Rock was worth the effort. All in all - this is a special place and we hope to return."

"Our family had a fantastic stay. It was such a beautiful home and clean. The views were amazing. The lift was perfect for me as I can’t walk stairs. The beds were comfortable. Rebecca was a great host and very accommodating. A lovely little park up the street that our dog dragged my husband to everytime he went outside. Peaceful and beautiful area. Highly recommend staying here."

"Listen to your instincts. The description of this property is long and detailed about how “old” and not modern it is, and what a great deal it is to be in such a desirable area. The property is located on Military Road which is busy and not quiet. At the time of this writing, Feb 2024, the wall leading up to the property is graffitied.
