"The hotel decoration was beautiful and very clean. The room was perfect and when we had an issue the staff were very efficient and moved us to a new room. The hotel was very quiet except for a bit of noise during one day when scaffolding was being erected outside the new room we were in, this was due to repairs taking place so couldn’t be helped. We had a superb breakfast each morning with lots of choice."

"Not my first stay here, and not my last. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the seafront about a 7-8 minute walk from the pier. I usually get a room with a balcony overlooking the sea as that’s almost the whole point I staying there. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor has a wide choice of menu items all of which were well prepared. The breakfast was outstanding. The View is at the higher end of the price range but you do get what you pay for and is far more modern than most of its competitors. An excellent stay as always. "

"The room i was initially booked into had not been cleaned when i arrived. I reported this and was met with excellent service and my room was upgraded at once to compensate. The hotel is well situated with best view of the sea ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at in Eastbourn. Standards were good for the price. Not really luxury but perfectly ok."

"Very nice hotel with great service. Some areas of the rooms are a bit dated but, generally, the hotel has a lovely feel."

"I was happy for the parking and not only that, but the electric charging available. I came in a non-busy weekend I guess as there were lots of space. My room was enough for me. Wish it was near sea but not. Internet fine in room. I bet some can have problems getting in shower though as it was narrow. Place has bar and lots of lounges you can relax. Breakfast has lots of variety to choose, the server was a little grumpy and not that polite to me. Bar man and receptionist was fine."
