"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"Great bedrooms and bathrooms Good equipment Friendly check in The 2 bedrooms by the pool are a bit separated from main house but worked for us The pool itself was great but hot and humid to sit around and can’t open doors to garden . Great host check in , fresh flowers a nice welcome touch"

"Had a lovely 5 days at this beautiful house, which is perfectly situated to explore West Sussex. We loved the character of the buildings as well as the pool and it was great fun looking after the chickens. Lots of space outside and very well equipped in the kitchen."

The pool was large and well-used over the week! It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, yet within a 200 yard walk, you were in the town of Petworth. "Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host. We visited Winchester using the cheap and efficient Park and Ride system. Wonderful...

"We had a fantastic stay in Petersfield in the townhouse. The location is very convenient to walk into town, very close to the train station and easily accessible via car. The house has everything you need and is very spacious and clean. The back garden is very calming and beautiful to look at. Will definitely look to stay again when we visit family. Highly recommend. "Really great stay in this flat. Perfect for the car show up the road which we had travelled down for. The pub across the way did good value food. Only thing I would say is don’t email the property hosts, just text or phone the mobile number!"
