"Loved the Victorian decor and the pub!"

"This is only my 3rd stay at the hotel and casino and overall it was very good. Our room was clean but unique to this visit, some attention to detail and issues were noted. I did not bring any of this up to staff as they were totally bearable. Just wanted to be clear. The pool and hot tub was heaven as usual and super heated! The room was clean and nice but we did not have extra washclothes or toilet paper. There also was a loud noise in the plumbing above the toilet that was a little loud. We...

"Charming old-world ambience. My room had a king-sized poster bed which some people would need a step ladder to get on (I'm not tall, but am agile!), but very comfortable. Some rooms need more logical placement of outlets for lights and electronics; other rooms are up to date. The ambience is friendly and the staff are excellent. Plus, it's so convenient to downtown and for leaving city center. "

"Everything was clean, quiet, nice hot water. sauna was great, pool too cool for me,but looked clean and some people went in. The hot tub was broken,due to vandalism. The owner was very nice. Breakfast excellent, great coffee"

"Stayed for two nights during a snow and ice storm and had a blast. Pool and jacuzzi room very warm and clean and a room with a billiard table. Staff was always there to help and would def go again."
