"On arrival we found out the room had changed and as we'd veen looking forward to this specific room, we were initially disappointed. The staff however went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and helped make it special with free drinks and unlimted golf. The room we were given was lovely and unique. We enjoyed it as much as we would have the other one i am sure. There is building ongoing to the new spa and to some rooms but it was never an issue and the noise was limited to reasonable times so not to disturb guests. The play area for kids looked epic, the golf was fun and the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice and food made to order as well as a buffet. We had a short drive to the Dabaling Duck snd visted Rising castle, Castle Acre and took in the beauty of the small villages and scenary. All in all a lovely place and location to explore."

"Lovely weekend stay. Its a lovely old building but very clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was good. Had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. It would have been useful to have a plug nearer a mirror for drying hair!"

"Very friendly staff, the food was amazing we had fish and chips with peas the fish was a good size portions couldn’t finish it. The room was brilliant well fitted out had a small kitchen that we didn’t expect to have, the views were amazing of the church. Every where was very clean.. will be booking again.. to all staff thank u for giving us an amazing stay "

"We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the welcome on reception when booking in right through to checking out in the morning every member of staff who we interacted with was friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had a delicious 2 course meal in the evening and one of the best breakfasts we have had. The buffet breakfast was top rate with amazing sausages and bacon. Plenty alof variety available to choose from with the addition of a moce continental with cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, toast, preserves and pastries. We were made to feel welcome and valued at all times and enjoyed the personal treatment without it being over the top. All in all a great find, and coupled with the unexpected fine weather , it made for an unforgettable experience. Thanks to everyone It was clearly evident that every member of staff took a great deal of pride in their job and they are all a credit to the establishment."
