"The position of the property was excellent right on the ocean. Sadly although our room had an ocean view it did not have a balcony. It was close to all facilities & walks. The room itself was probably in need of improvement as the bathroom was dated, the bathroom mirror was badly marked & woodwork was in need of painting. However, the linen was clean & the bed comfortable. "

"Very convenient and good choice for the city. Some bathroom features are a little tired but overall, rooms are large, you can use the Mantra pool and access to the Esplanade is great. Desk service was great: stored my luggage and gave me a towel so I could swim until checkin/room was ready. Desk staff friendly. Delighted to have a bath with my room. Some bowls and cutlery in studio rooms would be great. But otherwise, a good deal. "

" Very friendly staff and very comfortable hotel. Only problem was it changed its name recently and our taxi had no idea where the courtyard by Marriott was. Also currently no bar or restaurant despite still advertising it does. No breakfast on weekends either. Need to communicate this to customers with bookings as this is not a good look."
